Art &
Animation
Character-driven experiments in movement, music, timing, and visual personality.
01 · Community
Teaching the tools that turn ideas into moving things.
The Digital Art and Game Design Club extends the practice outward.
The club introduces animation, video, and game-making as accessible creative mediums. The emphasis is less on producing perfect work and more on giving people enough technical language to make an idea visible.
02 · Art & animation practice
Learning movement one strange song loop at a time.
My animation work uses character-focused music clips as a compact laboratory for timing, camera movement, drawing variation, and visual storytelling.
The collection includes tweened animation, frame-by-frame experiments, original characters, fan animation, gifts for friends, class films, and a social-studies animation about my father’s migration from Beijing to Buffalo.
Tweening
Keyframes create smooth motion while keeping ambitious projects manageable.
Frame-by-frame
Selected sequences add expressive motion and visual surprise.
Music + camera
Rhythm, cuts, zooms, and text become part of the character performance.
Selected videos will live here.
The structural page is ready. In the asset pass, the strongest four to six animations can be embedded with concise captions instead of reproducing the entire old archive.
